上个月shàng gè yuè我wǒ搬了bān le家。jiā

Last month I moved.

以前的yǐqián de房子fángzi太tài小了。xiǎo le

My old place was too small.

新的xīn de房子fángzi大dà一点,yì diǎn也yě更gèng便宜。piányi

The new place is a bit bigger and cheaper too.

搬家bān jiā那天,nà tiān朋友们péngyou men都dōu来lái帮忙。bāngmáng

On moving day, friends came to help.

我们wǒmen搬了bān le一整天。yì zhěng tiān

We moved for a whole day.

最zuì重的zhòng de东西dōngxi是shì冰箱bīngxiāng和hé沙发。shāfā

The heaviest things were the fridge and the sofa.

新家xīn jiā的de厨房chúfáng比bǐ以前yǐqián大。dà

The new kitchen is bigger than before.

我wǒ在zài客厅kètīng放了fàng le一个yí gè书架。shūjià

I put a bookshelf in the living room.

卧室里wòshì lǐ有yǒu一张yì zhāng大床。dà chuáng

There's a big bed in the bedroom.

搬家bān jiā很hěn累,lèi但是dànshì很hěn值得。zhídé

Moving was tiring, but worth it.

现在xiànzài我wǒ很hěn喜欢xǐhuan这个zhè gè新家。xīn jiā

Now I really like this new home.

我wǒ打算dǎsuan请qǐng朋友们péngyou men来lái吃饭。chī fàn

I plan to invite friends over for dinner.
