Today I went to a company for an interview.

我wǒ七点qī diǎn就jiù起床了。qǐchuáng le

I got up at seven.

我wǒ穿了chuān le最好的zuì hǎo de衣服。yīfu

I wore my best clothes.

面试的miànshì de地方dìfang离lí我家wǒ jiā有点yǒu diǎn远。yuǎn

The interview location was a bit far from home.

我wǒ提前tíqián一个yí gè小时xiǎoshí出门。chūmén

I left an hour early.

到了dào le公司,gōngsī我wǒ在zài前台qiántái等了děng le十shí分钟。fēnzhōng

At the company I waited ten minutes at the front desk.

然后ránhòu面试官miànshì guān叫jiào我wǒ进jìn办公室。bàngōngshì

Then the interviewer called me into the office.

他tā问了wèn le我wǒ很多hěn duō问题。wèntí

He asked me a lot of questions.

有些yǒu xiē问题wèntí比较bǐjiào难nán回答。huídá

Some were harder to answer.

我wǒ尽量jǐnliàng说shuō实话。shíhuà

I tried to tell the truth.

面试miànshì一共yígòng进行了jìnxíng le四十sìshí分钟。fēnzhōng

The interview lasted forty minutes in total.

他tā说shuō下个星期xià gè xīngqī给gěi我wǒ消息。xiāoxi

He said he'd let me know next week.

我wǒ希望xīwàng能néng得到dé dào这份zhè fèn工作。gōngzuò

I hope I get this job.
