HSK 1 Reading Practice
Practice HSK 1 Chinese reading with simple graded stories, pinyin support, sentence audio, vocabulary saving, and progress tracking.
HSK 1 reading should feel simple, not childish. The goal is to recognize the most common words inside complete sentences: ζ, δ½ , ζ―, ζ, ε¨, ε, ε, ε», ζ₯, and the everyday phrases around them.
Pinyora's HSK 1 reading loop is small on purpose. Read a short story, tap one word, save it, and listen to the whole passage.
What HSK 1 readers should practice
- Basic introductions
- Family and people
- Food and drinks
- Dates, time, and numbers
- Simple questions with ε, δ»δΉ, θ°, εͺεΏ
The best practice text is one where you already understand the topic. That lets you focus on word order and rhythm.
A practical HSK 1 routine
Read one beginner story per day. Keep pinyin on at first. Tap a sentence to hear it, then read the Chinese again without looking at the English. Save one useful word, not ten random words.
After a week, your saved vocabulary list should show real patterns: greetings, pronouns, common verbs, measure words, and question particles.
For a level overview, read the HSK 1 study guide. For the full app workflow, see free Chinese reading practice.
