最近zuìjìn我wǒ开始kāishǐ学xué做饭。zuò fàn

Recently I started learning to cook.

以前yǐqián我wǒ总是zǒngshì点diǎn外卖。wàimài

Before, I always ordered takeout.

妈妈māma说shuō自己zìjǐ做饭zuò fàn更gèng健康。jiànkāng

Mom says cooking for yourself is healthier.

我wǒ第一次dì yī cì做的zuò de是shì西红柿xīhóngshì鸡蛋。jīdàn

The first thing I made was tomato and egg.

开始kāishǐ的时候de shíhou我wǒ做得zuò de不好。bù hǎo

At first I didn't do it well.

但是dànshì妈妈māma帮bāng我。wǒ

But Mom helped me.

现在xiànzài我wǒ可以kěyǐ做zuò几个jǐ gè菜cài了。le

Now I can make a few dishes.

做饭zuò fàn其实qíshí很hěn有意思。yǒu yìsi

Cooking is actually quite interesting.
